i've been getting a few emails from people who are not on the boards. rather than individuals who signed up and write regularly they more or less they send private emails (not PM's) to ask questions about exams. .. anyone else have a similiar experience? :confused:

I haven't experienced that but it might be because you list your exams completed and your scores in your sig.

Now and then, especially when I post a new score. Not so much when I post about distance learning classes where I write a paper a week
What's hard is when folks who are brand new to this want a lot of direction. One day I'll write an update to the 'Roadmap' sticky and direct them there.

I have gotten a few PMs about exams, but never an email at my personal mailbox. It doesn't happen very often, so it doesn't bother me. I just give what little meager advice I can and send them on their way.

Well....you know there's good reason why people lurk on test sites like these.
if they were ever caught...substantially snooping...into the test help (some of that specific feedback stuff is quite detailed, might I add) ...the credit from CLEP would not be awarded or could even be taken away.
No one that I know has ever been punished for going on this board but be careful what you say, you never know who might be watching
