lab requirement
#1
Hey all Smile

I was thinking of something and I'm still extremely new at this so sorry if this has been covered 100 times before.

If I take the Biology or Chemistry CLEP, will this cover the lab requirement too?

Does it make a difference whether you're, say, a Biology major, or a Criminal Justice major?

I feel like most of the schools I look at it require Bio and Chem to include labs, regardless of the major. So does CLEP Bio and Chem cover the lab portion?

Thanks all and Happy Holidays!!!

No, the CLEP Bio Exam does not include a lab, but most of us here apply our credits towards the Big-3 and no lab is required. There are always exceptions though....

Some courses are best grasped with
practical experience....I'am a ''dummie'
myself However the cost and logistics
of doing lab work make this option not
possible....The For Dummies and their
complimentry work books can fill in the
gaps of understanding.

I took the Astronomy Dantes-DSST exam and it was counted as my science at Excelsior.

Where are you attending?

CLEP Biology did not cover my lab requirement at the University of Maryland, and I'm an Info. Systems Mgmt. major. Fortunately, they offer a separate 1 credit lab class, so I will need to take that next semester.
