intro to computers study.com Excelsior

The only problem is, I just completed all of the quizes and I was about to take the final exam, but before I did, I called Excelsior to confirm that it would fill that requirement.  Much to my surprise, my advisor told me that it will not count towards the computer requirement.  Has anyone ever used this course to fulfill this requirement?  I know I should've called to confirm prior to taking the course, I just assumed I was good based on the study.com information.  Should I try and request an exception?  Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
One of the reasons I excluded Excelsior as an option for my boys is because they do not accept ANY Study computer courses for transfer. I emailed Excelsior to ask and they confirmed it.
