Okay, I took the online DSST practice exam for Environment and Humanity offered on DSST's website. I printed everything out and after having to calculate myself what kind of score I got, it didn't turn out the greatest. So now I'm reviewing everything and their so-called "Rationale" have ZERO rationale behind it! For example, Q). Which of the following does NOT represent an environmentally sound land use management system? R). Correct answer represents an unsound system. What is That?!?! I'm extremely frustrated at DSST's lack of competence in this area.
To get to my main point, sorry for the delay, I need to know the Percentage of Annual Population Change Here was the Question:
Q). The mathematical formula that represents the percentage of annual population change is expressed as which formula? (Note: CBR [crude birth rate] = # births/1000 population/year. CDR [crude death rate] = # deaths/1000 population/year.)
A. (CBR / CDR) x 10% = % population change/yr.
B. (CBR - CDR) / 10% = % population change/yr.
C. (CDR + CBR) / 10% = % population change/yr.
D. (CBR x CDR) / 10% = % population change/yr.
R). All but the correct answer are completely contrived and make no mathematical sense. "laugh" THAT was their answer and rationale behind it!
HELP!
