I took Abnormal Psychology Exelsior exam today. All I can say is WOW!!!! I have been studying for about 3 weeks and barely passed with a C. Unlike clep, a pass is not just a pass. All of the specific feedback is great, especially some of the links given. It is just a lot of information to retain. My GPA wouldn't matter if I didn't want to go on for a MBA. 6 more to go, I am supposed to take the next 2 in about 10 days but I may push that back some. I will say, for those that haven't taken an Excelsior exam yet. It was 4 multiple choice questions, 130 questions long. They gave me 3 hours , I used 1 exactly. I dont think it would have done me any good to go back over it. It has been my experience either, you know it or you dont. You can usually narrow the ones you dont know down to 2 and then its 50/50. Anyway, that was my day.

Good job! I know the GPA is a concern, but at least you did pass.
I just completed Juvenile Delinquency last week. Very tough!
Good luck and hang in there! What did you have scheduled next?

I have Adulthood and aging, and foundations of gerontology next. Everyone says there is a lot of crossover so I scheduled them 2 days apart. I am happy to pass, I will just have to try an buckle down. I studied hard for 2 weeks and this lat week I have been under the weather and not felt like studying much.

BS Liberal Studies. I will have plenty of Psychology credits both UL and LL but not enough Math for a major in Psych.

Congrats on your pass! I've heard they are rough. Sounds like the best strategy is to take them in order of subject overlap, as you are. Good luck with your next one!
