Hi, I'm new to the forum and I'm very grateful to my friend for letting me know that there is a way to finally earn my degree without spending 2 years and tens of thousands of dollars.
I went to college about 20 years ago and never quite finished. I have been a Certified Personal Trainer, then a Stay-At-Home Mom, then a Homeschool Administrator.
I have always wanted to get my degree, but I didn't feel like I could justify the cost (with the traditional method) since I don't work for pay. So, this opportunity really excites me.
I don't care what my major is: I would like to major in whatever gets me my bachelor degree the fastest. In college I studied Spanish and Religion (went to a religious institution) and I am no longer passionate about either subject. I love social work/sociology, business, and science. I would like to look into studying something in one of those fields as an MA once I'm done achieving this first goal.
I would really appreciate it if anyone could share advice about where to start:
1. Which college is most likely to accept the highest percentage of my credits (especially including religion and Spanish)?
2. Which degree would you recommend to most quickly graduate with what I have?
3. How do I figure out which tests I need to take to try to save money and get credits outside of the traditional schooling method?
Thank you very, very much!
