I only need one course (3 credits shy), a natural science one to finish my degree. I believe I can test out by taking the Nutrition CLEP. However, I was hoping to pay for my Tuition Fee (at the very least) by using Financial Aid. Can I qualify for Fin Aid if I take no classes? Would I be stuck taking (one or more) 3 month long classes in order to qualify for aid?
I may have also run out of aid money as I have spent 5 years in college. But that time frame, it might be easy to see why I want to get this DONE. Also, I have only done a preliminary credit review at TESC, as I understand one has to take a capstone at Excelsior--and I believe two courses at the other big three ...the Oak one. I plan on getting my BA in Liberal Studies.
Also, I am at our the Country in Busan, South Korea--I'm worried about my ability to find a proctor for the CLEP. It seems it is easier to take exams while enrolled in the courses because then I could have an online proctor. But I'm not too fond of the idea of putting such extensive software on my computer.
Thank you for all and any advice fellow forum members have on this thread. I've already received a wealth of information just by looking at the site.
