In an attempt to calm myself down, I'm browsing this forum and trying not to think of my classes at a community college. I have been trying to come up with accounting alternitives as I'm terrified I will bomb the CLEP. I have been attempting to navigate ACE to look into Penn Foster Courses and I can't find them. The only thing I can find is the member directory and they aren't listed, unless they are under a different name? I should also include that I am at work and several links on ACE would not connect or would with errors (lots of script running across the page).
If someone could please post the link for the Penn Foster classes with current ACE approval, I would greatly appreciate it. I am planning on TESC so if anyone has used PF for accounting recently with no issue let me know.
Now for my rant...
I'm no computer wiz but I consider myself very comfortable with them and I'm quick to pick up new things. I can't for the life of me figure out how my intro to computers professor has a job teaching online classes! My community college classes are all online and this professor keeps blaming "technical difficulties" for issues I and others students have in his class. When I call tech support per his instructions, they sound puzzled and inform me that no I'm not having technical trouble, the professor just hasn't opened that area of class to student view. banghead
I have had three instances of this in this class and now feel that it is going to affect my grade. I don't want to just pass or worse, fail, due to issues a computer teacher has with the online teaching platform. I am getting to the point of not caring so long as I pass as I'm leaving after this semester but that will lower my GPA and it wouldn't be due to something I've done wrong.
Has anyone had any experience going to a school about problems with a professor? I did challenge my school over an error on registrar once before however that issue was fairly straight forward so it was easy to resolve.
