How long did it take you to finish? Any textbook recommendations? I want to take the course for my teacher certification (It's not required for my degree).

It took me a week. There are five tests. If you have the knowledge, just take one a day and off you go.
Registered with Ft. Hays prior to signing up for course via internet. Got acceptance letter in mail. Signed up for SL course, reviewed work, ordered textbook (for half price on used/trade site), received textbook two days later, reviewed one day for all units, and then begin taking tests. Total of 7 days after signing up to completion. Called SL and they sent grade to Ft. Hays next day, week later cc had received transcript from Ft. Hays and posted on my record as TC. That simple.

I just want to verify, there are only five tests? I'm taking Straighterline Macroeconomics and there are nineteen tests; I figured that was the norm for all of them. How many questions are on each of the tests?

I have just been reading the course syllabus of Straighterline College Algebra and it says there are only 5 exams worth 100 points each.
Are theses proctored exams, paper or online?

I was the first graduate of Straighterline! back in July 2008 and passed the 5 algebra exams in 2 days :o the tests are online and NO proctor  104 credits and counting...
