here is what they wrote:
"Yes, you can work on both the BA. Psychology and the AAS in Criminal Justice concurrently. Because the AAS in Criminal Justice is under the Heavin School, you are permitted to stay in the 2015 catalog year. However, I would recommend checking with the Office of Academic Advising prior to registering for each course. This to ensure degree applicability in both areas."

If you graduate with the BA and AAS at the same time then the courses from the AAS falls into the BA, no extra credits required. CJ courses are considered social science courses so they fall into the gen ed section of the BA unless they count as psych then they would fall into the psych area. The BA capstone counts as upper level towards the upper level requirement. The UL requirement can be met by Experimental psych UL, 4 UL psych electives and capstone course UL.

Some CJ courses are considered social sciences. If they aren't treated as social sciences or some other liberal arts subject, then they will not fall into gen ed.
