ladylearner Wrote:Thanks, Akai. I am already quite familiar with Learning Counts, as I have completed 4 portfolios already. But every school does things differently. When I completed the portfolios it was with the intention of transferring to TESC. TESC has a portfolio database that COSC and Excelsior don't have. My Learning Counts advisor told me that TESC was easiest to work with because they were more open to credit by portfolio. Both TESC and Excelsior are affiliated partner universities with Learning Counts, but the process is still very different at Excelsior.
COSC is not a partner school but accepts NCCRS credits. But I was wondering if anyone on the forum had actually transferred Learning Counts credits to COSC or completed portfolios while attending COSC.
COSC should accept it, considering that they even have their own PLA program in place.
However, I'll send you a PM with the Registrar's Office email address, so you can ask them directly
