Can someone please help me out?
COSC has always been my first choice out of the Big 3. However, I opted to go with TESC for a number of other reasons. That didn't work out due to financial reasons so I decided to see what I needed to do to finish at COSC December 31st. I specifically remember and wrote down in my notes that the 12/31 graduation application deadline for COSC was 10/31. You had to be done with all your outside credits by then and could still be enrolled in the capstone.
Now I can't find that anywhere on the COSC site. It says the deadline is August 31st.
Am I going crazy? Or did they change up? I really thought I remember seeing a schedule and noticing that the graduation application deadlines at COSC were always two months before graduation.

For December 31 graduation, the application is due August 31st, but the outside transcript deadline is November 30.

Thank you, topdog....now I know why they call you topdog lol.
I still feel like I saw a 10/31 date somewhere. Am I correct in my understanding that you can only apply when you have completed all but your COSC (internal) requirements? Meaning I can't plan on taking any exams or doing portfolios in September if I plan to graduate in December?

I've been targeting that graduation date also, and August has been the deadline date for a while now - at least since I first checked it at the start of the year.

I agree that it is very confusing because right now on the homepage of acorn, it says:
"The December 31, 2014 graduation application deadline date is August 31, 2014. Please be sure to submit your applications by the deadline date."
But if you go to the calendar at the bottom of the page and view October and click on October 31, it says, "Last day to apply for December graduation."
So maybe we are both crazy!

To my understanding, what you are thinking is not correct. It seems that the requirement is that they must receive your transcripts from any outside institutions by November 30. On your graduation application, you would list any additional transcripts that they will be receiving.

When you apply for graduation they have you list any transcripts you will be sending in before the transcript receipt deadline. So, for example, if you plan on taking a CLEP exam in September you would write down the name of the exam and that it's a CLEP and they will know to expect your score before....November 30th(?). Then you can go ahead and take it in September and as long as they receive it before the end of November you should be good.
I too am seeing the December graduation deadline listed in October on the calendar and August in ACORN. Maybe email COSC to clarify?

Yes, I will clarify. I am glad I'm not the only one who saw two different dates!
