some schools don't accept certain types of clep .I heard did if your original school pre transfer accepts, it there is a chance the new school would accept it is it true?

You need to check with the school you want to transfer to for any definite answer. I prefer to ask via email so you have the response in writing.

Generally, as long as your transcript says you have credit for the course, it will transfer. This is not always the case if the course is part of your chosen area of study, then the school might want you to go through their program. It could also vary state to state.
It actually went backwards for me. My community college doesn't accept a particular CLEP, but my university did. The credit transferred BACK to my community college and went towards my associate's degree.

It depends on the college's guidelines... my university will only accept a handful of CLEP tests for the equivalent course credit. Always check with the college first BEFORE you assume.
