Hello, I am active duty military looking to finish my Bachelors. I am still deciding between a Bachelors in Cyber Security, Political sciences or legal studies. I have an AAS in Paralegal science, and a Associate from the Community College of the Air Force in Aviation Management. I am really good with computer so that's why I am interested in Cyber security but, my dream is to become an Attorney. I am trying to finish my Bachelors online before my enlistment is over so, I have approx. 5 years. I am looking to clep/DSST/credit by exam as many courses as possible. Right now I am looking at American Military University, Excelsior College, and University of Maryland university college. What CLEPs should i take? What other institutions would you recommend?

Well that would depend on one major thing, if you want to CLEP/DSST yourself to a Bachelor's degree or do you want to have a mix of BM (brick and mortar) and CLEP/DSST exams? This is a big factor because many schools (i.e. AMU and University of Maryland) usually put a limit on how many credit-by-exam credits they will allow you to transfer in. Generally speaking, most schools will only take about 30 credits, if that. However, if you choose one of the "Big Three"(Excelsior, Charter Oak, or Thomas Edison State College) you can CLEP/DSST ALL of your remaining 60 or so credits.
I'm currently enrolled at Excelsior. Already finished 9 credits in 3 weeks and have another exam tomorrow. Also, I like testing and hate sitting in class. Do what's best for you!
Good luck.

Charter Oak State College offers a bachelor's degree in cybersecurity. They will be cheaper than Excelsior and about as flexible when it comes to CLEP, DSST, etc. They also accept FEMA credits directly saving you even more money. You can go to law school with any degree, so don't waste your time with political science or legal studies unless you either have a genuine interest in studying those subjects, or your AAS in paralegal science will put you much closer to a paralegal studies degree. Having a diverse academic background can be helpful as an attorney. The misconception is that you need to study political science or something related to law to get into and do well in law school. That is not true.

Here are the course equivalencies for CLEP/DSST for AMU
Find Course Equivalents
AMU will also accept FEMA raw from the transcript, again to save money, as well as DOCNET courses (free mil-sci). If your goal is to be a lawyer, what kind of lawyer do you want to be? You may want to consider to get your undergrad in that type of field i.e. practice Cybersecurity law - get Bachelors in Cybersecurity, which is an in demand specialty. Residency requirement for AMU is 30 credit hours and they treat military incredibly well keeping cost per credit at the $250 max for TA, free transfer credit review (instead of $50) and all books are included in the cost of tuition, and support is given by instructors if you'll be out of comms for awhile for an FTX, on deployment, etc.
Completed:
FEMA: 20 credit hours, B&M: 33 credit hours, AARTS: 14 credit hours, certifications
ALEKS: Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra
CLEP: Analyzing & Interpret. Literature CLEP - 66, English Composition Modular CLEP - 58, American Government CLEP - 58, Social Sciences & History CLEP - 63
DSST: Intro to Computing DSST - 452
Straighterline: Business Ethics (88%), Criminal Justice (94%), World Religions (93%), Cultural Anthropology (92%), Intro to Sociology (94%)

Ah I didn't catch that. I also can't believe I didn't mention the thing I like most from the school is that they do 8 week courses in a 16 wk semester, essentially you can take 4 courses/semester without actually doing coursework for more than 2 classes at a time.

What credit by exams would go directly into the cyber security degree? And I don't mean electives I mean Concentration, if there are some? Also, how does the military looks at excelsior bachelors degree if I decided to Commission?
