I am from Iceland, who wants to get a bachelor's degree in computer science. Unfortunately, In Iceland or In Europe there are no good online university choose; only International university, which according to some people sucks. Does anyone know, if WGU will accept international students? Or, will they ever except international students? (EU students)

Unless you're going to specific areas in Canada for a few months... No exceptions, no is a no, you can't expect them to change that just because some people are looking for a way in, they will not accept international students due to requirements for accreditation. Welcome to the US! There are always workarounds, if you really want WGU, easy, fly here for a few months as an international student, stay until you're done with WGU, then fly back... Voila!

Just keep in mind that this would be highly illegal without a US student visa. I'm sure there are better, and lower cost options available. So don't do it without a student visa. And since WGU doesn't sponsor international students...well, therein lies the problem. So again, No - WGU does not, and I suspect they have no plans to, allow international students.

Just an update, you may want to check your visa requirements and entry requirements for any institution if you're coming to study, they may require specific student visa or some other type of visa: For WGU, I'm not sure if they require the student visa or not as it's entirely online, but you can try getting a specific visa to get into the country and stay at least 6 month while you do WGU or another institution...
Basically, I wonder if it would work for those coming in for some grad programs that require a week or two, maybe more residencies. If that's the case, you may be able to do multiple educational credentials at the same time! But make sure of the regulations and rules, have all the required visas for entry, and so on, before you embark on this educational journey. Be on the safe side...

Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie on the forum. I want to thank all of you for your helpful posts while I was researching my degree options.
I graduated from WGU in 3 months with a Bachelor of Science in healthcare. I live outside of the USA.
Some things to consider when you get a bachelor's degree from WGU:
1. They use CUs (competence units) instead of credits. The transcripts thoroughly explain the competence degree, but I'm not sure it will go well for a master's application. My suggestion to WGU would be to make it 120 CUs instead of 91, as questions could arise.
2. Some study material is not worked on: they give you a book to read from page x to page y. I usually used chatGPT to familiarize myself with the concepts for the tests.
3. Overall, including the tempting price for the accredited degree, it was a pleasant experience. My mentor is fantastic; no issues with proctors, and most courses are good and valuable.

HappyOne, just wondering where you're located and how you managed to get accepted... That's awesome, congrats on completing the BS Healthcare in 3 months! That's a speedy time, usually I would recommend spending more time, since you've got up to 6 months each term. That's a mighty good accomplishment in such a short time! Congrats again on getting this done, any future educational plans?

Hi there, BjCheung,
Your posts on this forum are super helpful! Thank you. I'm located in Georgia, the country. I'd rather not share details publicly as this information could be used to eliminate the option, but I'm happy to share a guide I created privately with those seriously interested.
I appreciate your kind words. I was hurrying to apply for a master's degree. However, I still missed some options, as the application period sometimes ends in the middle of January.
I was planning to pursue an online UF degree in innovative studies of aging and am still considering it. Unfortunately, online programs in the biology of aging are rare and costly. However, I found a free online master's degree in healthcare innovation. I will share the information on this forum as soon as I receive my acceptance results.
I'm thrilled to participate in this forum and hope to provide helpful input.
