Wiki
#1
Sorry if this has already been discussed; I did a search on the forum and couldn't find anything. I switched jobs and a took a few months off from pursuing my degree.

What happened to the Wiki? The link is dead. Does anyone know if it will be returning?

Thanks

The old provider, Wikia Fandom, locked us out because they said it was "inactive" for too long. When I pointed out to them that changes were being regularly made and within the "inactive period" required, they temporarily reactivated us for a couple hours and then disabled us again without a clear explanation.

It was moved to the new host linked above, which actually worked out much better because the site isn't littered with ads and popups.

Is it possible to pin this thread? Seems to be a pretty common question.

As I recall, they finally admitted they didn't like us because the wiki was tied to a forum that wasn't one of their communities.

I was thinking about making a brand new thread that's just a note about the wiki and where to find it, and we could have it locked and pinned and replace the old pinned post with it

what do you think, merlin?

I think that would be the better option. A clean thread that just says "Here is how to find the wiki".

Cool, I'll make a post in a moment. Looks like the old thread was in the Big 3 forum, but it probably makes more sense in the General section, right?

Okay i posted it here -- https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...s-and-more

Feel free to move it to another sub before you pin it if you feel it doesn't belong in general
