The main thing about them is that you can listen to them so its great for mutli-tasking or when doing something boring.
I'm so glad you mentioned these. We LOVE The Great Courses PLUS. But let me let you in on a tip. For $20/month you can get access to most of them, digitally. Most include a downloadable course PDF. Sometimes the PDF have study questions. And if $20/month is too steep, you can get them thru Amazon.com at um, I think it's $7.99/month... it includes many of them, but not all.
