I thought you might want to hear from those of us who have actually taken both exams.
I took both exams years after taking many biology and chemistry courses in college. Notice the large disparity in my scores. Biology is more descriptive, almost like studying for a social science exam. Biology rewards people with good recall memory. Chemistry is more like a math test where you have to know something and then apply it.
Out in the world away from this forum, some people who excel in chemistry do poorly in biology. What's hard depends on the individual.
