Individuals have different strengths, but chemistry just might be the most difficult test out there. I scored relatively high on biology, but failed miserably on chemistry. hilarious

Biology....hands down. Chemistry is rated a 5 out of 5 for difficulty on free-clep-prep.com and I whole-heartedly agree with that rating. I got my worst score on Chemistry (55) and I had just got done taking a college prep Chemistry course when I took the CLEP.

Biology...Check out FREE CLEP Prep .com's website for level of difficulty. I am an nurse, but it was a do-able exam with a couple weeks study time.

I haven't taken the Chemistry CLEP, but from what I've read, it's pretty tough. Biology was relatively straightforward; I read an AP Biology study guide from cover to cover, brushed up on a few definitions, and passed the test with ease.
Course clear! You got a card.

I thought you might want to hear from those of us who have actually taken both exams.
I took both exams years after taking many biology and chemistry courses in college. Notice the large disparity in my scores. Biology is more descriptive, almost like studying for a social science exam. Biology rewards people with good recall memory. Chemistry is more like a math test where you have to know something and then apply it. Out in the world away from this forum, some people who excel in chemistry do poorly in biology. What's hard depends on the individual.
