I should have been more clear. I know about UMPI accepting TEEX credits towards the 40 technical credits required by them for the BAS. I was asking specifically about Pierpont. Would they accept TEEX credits towards the 15 they require for the AoE in Info Systems, which is the recommended AoE for the BAS at UMPI. As far as I understand it.

Yes, it does, as the NIKE commercials go, "Just Do It"... You'll get Cybersecurity (IT) ACE credit, so you can get an emphasis in Info Systems.

I got the certificate of completion, but it doesn't show up in Credly as a badge. What am I missing?

No idea how long it will take but Karen has been pretty responsive.

I received the email from Pierpont with my email and default password. I've seen some comments on how it was tricky to change the password and login. I'm pretty technical so it was easy for me to get through it using the MS's authenticator app, but I can totally see how somebody not technical would gdet totally confused by it.

Anyway, this was pretty fast. I think I applied on Wednesday and got this early Sat morning. I'm guessing the next step of anayzing my transcripts will take a bit longer, but we'll see. No hurry here.

Just wanted to add that I have access to ROAR, Blackboard and all the other services on that main student page including O365. Nothing to diaplay as of yet, but all the access appears to be there.

It is best to bundle the request once you have finished up the courses. In your email, list out the overall header and the courses under them - example below:

Cyber Security for IT Professionals TEEX-0251 CYB201
Network Assurance AWR138 (TEEX-0280)
Digital Forensics Basics AWR139 (TEEX-0281)
Information Security Basics AWR173 (TEEX-0282)
Secure Software AWR178 (TEEX-0283)
Cybersecurity in the Workplace AWR-395

One question I have that I haven't been able to find the answer to is about the 1 and 2 credit TEEX courses.

If each of those TEEX courses are 2 and 1 credit courses, how do those map into 3 credit courses at UMPI? It's obvious how a 3 credit sophia course would map to a 3 credit umpi course, but how do they do the 1 or 2 credit courses into their courses? As far as I know, they only have 3 credit electives (with a few of 1 credit ones).

The badges for the larger items come in at 3-4 credits, but these are free electives (Computer Science electives) that will also count as "technical" credits to help you meet the 40 credits needed for the BAS qualification. They don't map to specific classes at UMPI- see the list below from the UMPI transfer database:

Thx for this, jg. However, I'm not sure that I understand. I guess my confusion is about how these technical credits will be applied towards the 120 needed.
