Sorry about the multiple post, but what exactly is FEMA and straightliner?

Straighterline is a company that offers online, self-paced college courses. Their courses are ACE evaluated, so many colleges accept them.

Of course, you know FEMA is a government agency under the Department of Homeland Security. The agency has something called the Emergency Management Institute which offers free, distance learning courses to the general public. These courses are mostly meant to be continuing education credits for emergency personnel and to educate the public, but EMI also has a partnership with Frederick Community College which turns those courses into college credit. Most schools that accept FEMA credits will require that the credits be transcribed by FCC or another community college which can get expensive, but TESC accepts the credits directly from the FEMA transcript.
