I really need some help on where to start
#1
I really want to get my associates degree as soon as possible and then later a bachelors, for as cheap and quick as possible.

Here's the credits I currently have:

CJT-1510 DL01 Intro to Criminal Justice 3.00
EGL-1010 LE01 Comp I: Expository Writing 3.00
BMT-2750 Leadership Development 3.00
CIS-1010 Computer Literacy 3.00
INT-1550 Intro to Netwks: Netwrk+ Prep 3.00

I was told a good option for me would be the Board of Governors A.A.S. Degree, so I applied today and currently waiting to here back. Anymore steps I need to make towards that?

I was also told there are tons of free credits I can get online to put towards my degree but cant seem to find any. Can you point me in the right direction?

I was thinking about also doing courses with straighterline and study.com but how do I know which courses I need to take?

Wouldn't a associates in business be the quickest/easiest degree?

I would basically see if there's any free credits for any of the courses below first, then use straighterline or study to pay for the rest of the courses. Then transfer them over to a Big 3 school and get my degree? How can I make sure I am not doing duplicates? For instance I already have EGL-1010 LE01 Comp I: Expository Writing, do I really need ENG122 - English Composition I ?

If your goal is to get a bachelor at one of the Big3 after the Pierpont BOG AAS then I recommend that you figure out which Big3 and which bachelor degree first.  Since the BOG AAS is a general degree it makes sense to obtain credits that can easily transition right into the BA/BS plan - this way you save time and money.

There are 2 organizations that are currently offering free courses in many subjects.  They are:

Modern States- They offer courses geared toward preparing you for the CLEP and AP exams.  They are online classes and when you complete the class, they will pay for you to take the exam in the form of a voucher and they will also reimburse your testing center fee.
https://modernstates.org/

Online Degree- They offer free classes that are NCCRS approved(Not ACE).  The classes are free, but you have to pay $9 to take the proctored final.  Several threads are available about people's experience with them, if you do a search using the feature in the top right corner of the forum.  https://www.onlinedegree.com/

I see someone already linked you to the other free sources of credit.  Good luck and spend some time reading the threads.  You have a good start.
23 year old son: BOG AAS from Pierpont CTC Dec 2019
Myself: BS Business/French-1991, Masters of Rehabilitation Counseling-1995, Completed the Poetry in America Series from HES for 20 credits in English in May 2019.

The EGL-1010 you have is a duplicate of ENG-122 English Comp I - they are the same course, just each school's version.

I would recommend Study for Comp II. What are you using for this listing of Requirements? These are not the BOG requirements.
