When can I enroll for capstone and cornerstone?

When you register for a TECEP, do you still "have" to actually "schedule" and "take" the TECEP?  I thought I read you did not, but I just wanted to make sure of that information.  Can you just pay for the test and be done?  or Do you schedule and just not show up if you only need it to keep your degree plan?

You don't actually have to schedule and take the exam unless you really want to do so. You can just leave it alone and it won't even show up on your transcript.

If you're taking the Medical Terminology TECEP for enrolment purposes, you can just leave it. If you're going for credit courses through TECEP, heck, take the darn course exam for the credit, you've paid $50/credit lower level, it'll be like $150 down the drain if you don't take it... if you pass the exam, you get that requirement as a gen ed or free elective, depending on the course it could hit the Area of Study too.

You might want to take it just to try to grab 1cr.  But only if you want to - I wouldn't stress about it.  If it makes your hands clammy just thinking about it, then skip it.  Don't schedule it, don't worry about it, it will go away.

If you aren't already familiar with how ProctorU works, taking the exam can be good practice for future TESU exams if it turns out you need to take anything besides the capstone & cornerstone.
