What's your education goal in 2009?
#1
I just wanted to share what a year it's been for me -- thanks in no small part to this site and my IC forum friends here.

In the past year I went from having about 56 SH to having a total (non-duplicate) semester hours of about 145. Which is amazing to me. I came a long way. I have my wife to thank for her undying devotion and support and the Army who funded all my CLEPs, ECEs and DSST exams.

I completed my primary goals which were to complete my degree and get promoted. I got promoted in May and I finished my degree req's earlier this month with Excelsior.

In 2009 I look forward to starting a new journey with my master's degree and hopefully getting accepted to Officer Candidate School.

For those here still enrolled and on the journey to your first degree I wish you well. It's completely possible! Hand in there this year! Stay encouraged and stay focused! You can get this done! Thanks everyone for a great year!

My plan was a BSLA from Excelsior with my last test Dec 18th. I had a few wrenches thrown in back in November so now my new plan is to have my last two test completed the first week of Feb. I am taking EC Ethics next week and then retaking EC Social Psych in Feb. after the 60 day wait period. I am 41 so it is 23 years in the making.

My plan is to take & pass 4 more cleps (including World History Yikes!!!). I'm taking 9 B&M hours this spring, and 6 this summer and then I'm done!

I do want to go to grad school, but will be taking some time off in between to get my teacher certification.

90 Credits by the end of July.. I'm currently at 48 and will only be able to attend during the summer semester. There are big rewards if I can achieve this.

Good job Adam!!
First goal- get through my final exam on January 20th!!
My goals for 2009: complete 8 credits (2 classes) on campus for my first residency requirement (summer session 7 weeks) and then I can officially apply to the ALM degree program.
Assuming I'm accepted, I want to complete an additional 8 credits (2 classes) at a distance for fall semester. That would put me at the 1/2 point for my masters by year's end.
If possible, I'd like to earn all A's in the above classes LOL.
