I just wanted to share what a year it's been for me -- thanks in no small part to this site and my IC forum friends here.
In the past year I went from having about 56 SH to having a total (non-duplicate) semester hours of about 145. Which is amazing to me. I came a long way. I have my wife to thank for her undying devotion and support and the Army who funded all my CLEPs, ECEs and DSST exams.
I completed my primary goals which were to complete my degree and get promoted. I got promoted in May and I finished my degree req's earlier this month with Excelsior.
In 2009 I look forward to starting a new journey with my master's degree and hopefully getting accepted to Officer Candidate School.
For those here still enrolled and on the journey to your first degree I wish you well. It's completely possible! Hand in there this year! Stay encouraged and stay focused! You can get this done! Thanks everyone for a great year!
