Everybody knows we can access by paying for them.
saw many mentioning about free access thru library, that is why i ask! My state library does not seem to have it, and definately like everyone I thought there is free access.

Lamar, take my suggestion and google the actual name of the database. You are looking for library systems or an individual public library who has a subscription to the database. In northern CA, I found a library in Sonoma County and another in Woodland County. I did not do any additional checking to see what the requirements are for a library card. One of our local library systems only requires that you be a CA resident, others may require that you live within their city, and others may have some other requirement. You can check it out!

The Woodland one is probably Yolo County - woohoo for me because that's where I live. I'll try it!

Also, someday maybe a MS in Forensic Psychology, just for fun.   Oh, and a BS in Animal Behavior.  And, maybe when I'm 85 a PhD in something fun.

I did find it and get in through Yolo County. I googled "Testing and Education Reference Center" for Yolo County and found it. You do need to have a library card number to get into the site.

I do know that a lot of the CA counties will give you a library card for their county if you have one in a different CA county. It's worth a try if you don't have TERC through your own county library.

If you're taking the Cleps for "Humanities" and "Social Sciences and History," the Petersons are a little hard; however the Princeton "Cracking the Clep" book has practice tests that are useful for those tests.

thank you westerner! I bought REA clep book in ebay for sociology and have instacert. I am starting those. I just check book you said, and found 5th edition in ebay. will try to bid that one. still not sure of humanities. i am waiting for advisor's response. rather than clep, i feel dante world religion and ethics would be better for a nursing student. lets see what advice i get. everyone reading peterson, so i thought i am missing something.
sonoma county replied today and told me if i go there in person, they can issue me library card. i can't apply online. waiting for yolo county. going to go to our own library and talk and see how they can help me. i can't see anything online.

Just a quick thanks to everyone for sharing what they know! I used a link that took me to the Indiana database and there was a link that took me to other states and I was able to access practice tests via my own state.

It's so nice when people lend a hand. Much appreciated!
