Curious if TESC will accept PF Marketing MKT301 for their Intro to Marketing and PF Principles of Mgmt (BUS110) to fill the same at TESC? I haven't seen these two listed as alternatives, but was curious if it has been done.

I'm no TESC expert, but I think they take any course that is ACE accredited. Check with an advisor for the exact course equivalency, I would think.

Angela,
IIRC they have been used before by someone who did not have access to a CLEP/DSST test center. You would only need contact TESC with the ACE ICS course #s and they should be able to plan the courses into your academic evaluation. But, if you are able to take the CLEP exam, I highly recommend that option as the marketing and management CLEPs were two of the easiest exams I've taken. If I had to rank they would come just after A&I Lit, Intro to Business, and Intro to Computing.

Thank you both for your input. I haven't applied to TESC yet, so don't have an advisor to ask. I am considering the CLEP for the marketing Bric, but you know how I feel about testing.

Saylor has a nice option. The test is a little odd, but for $25 and able to do with proctor-u, i was pretty happy with it.

Yeah, I know about the Saylor option and I have taken a few classes through them, but I just don't like their layout. I haven't ruled anything out yet, just weighing my options.

I agree. I hate their format as well. I used study.com's videos to prepare for it, and just took the test. I wouldn't have went that route if I had to go through their material.

Ok, so this is for you...I wasn't sure. Saylor is really not much different than taking a CLEP imo because it is still a comprehensive exam. But as Mednat pointed out, it is a much more affordable option. On these two exams I really think you should try to test first (Saylor or CLEP), then if for some crazy reason you do not pass (don't see that happening) pursue Penn Foster.
