What happened to Prometric?
#1
I haven't been around for several months and apparently some things have changed. Every CLEP or Dantes I took, I made sure to update the records. And every course I completed on MyOnlineDegree or Sophia, I would log in and update the Prometric transcript. (It was Prometric right? I'm not crazy am I?)

Now I'm ready to get back into this, and the Prometric website has changed. I don't see anywhere to log in and view my complete transcript. I feel like it included CLEP and Dantes tests, but I could be wrong about that. It definitely listed all of my other courses.

Can anybody help here? How do I view the transcript?

Perhaps with military transcripts there was something with Prometric. I'm civilian so to me Prometric is only about DSST. CLEP is separate with college board accoun. Sophia went on my ACE transcript (which very recently changed. you'll see those threads it's still being figured out in some cases...)

But is it possible you had an account on Parchment for combining all kinds of things like that? I've wondered from time to time if that is a service they provide to individual learners? But I don't know. I guess and speculate..... correct to this link https://exchange.parchment.com/send/adds...tnc5tec8e2

CLEP, DSST, and Sophia could all be viewed on the ACE transcripting system which no longer exists in that form (see https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...ces-Ending and also https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...ACE-system). OnlineDegree is NCCRS and would not go onto any transcripting system that I am aware of.

Okay, so Prometric must have had my three CLEPs from the military. I'm not sure if they had the DSSTs that I've taken as a civilian or not. (Everything is so confusing now, as all the websites have changed.)

The ACE site is where I would always update my courses. And yeah I've just been reading all about that mess. Too bad they didn't just transfer everything over to the new deal, instead of the route they chose.

Thanks. So is this correct?

I have to:

1. Call Sophia (since they don't offer chat anymore) and ask them to add the badges to Acclaim.

2. Pay $ for a paper transcript from CLEP? (At least I can see my CLEPs there.)

3. Pay $ for a paper transcript from Prometric? (And is there no way to view my DSSTs?)

Or are there other options for #2 and #3?

If you're going to TESU, have you applied and sent in anything yet? If you have sent it in before, the records should already be up to date with all your past info. If you haven't signed up for TESU, then apply and get these sent to them the old fashion way with CLEP/DSST. For Sophia and other ACE providers, sign up for Acclaim/Credly and get those badges. For NCCRS, they send it directly to TESU.

Haven't applied yet. Seriously considering Liberty U instead as FAFSA will help and it doesn't require a balloon payment like the TESU arrangement.

Too bad DSST doesn't have a way to at least see the scores, or even the darn tests I've taken, online.

You can use FAFSA for TESU, too. bjcheung77 has written a couple of posts on how to maximize your Pell Grant at TESU so that you don't have to deal with that balloon payment.

Hmmm... Okay. I'll go search threads for pell grant and tesu. That was the original reason I didn't enroll yet. Couldn't forsee a time when I would be able to afford that all at once.
