I'm pursuing an A.A.S. BOG degree, and I'm having some issues. Nancy says she can't review any of my transcripts from CC's. Both CC's have the necessary accreditations, and I've never had issues transferring credits to other colleges. She thinks the transcripts were sent directly from me which is false. I logged into my student accounts, and requested the transcripts there. I've sent them through Parchment and NCH but they won't accept them. I'll just save them for whichever University I transfer to. I'm convinced that I'll have to get all the credits from Sophia and other ACE credit sites. Here's the credits that I have as of today.
Current Regional Accredited Credits: Yes, I've attended 2 CC's and I'll list each class below:
Academic Success Seminar
English Comp 1
Music Appreciation
Fund of Speech Communication
Art Appreciation
U.S. History 1 and 2
U.S. Government
Intro to Computing
Beginning Spanish
Macroeconomics
Intro to Physical Science Fitness/Wellness A. It's a 1 credit class every student in Texas CC's must take.
Intro to Philosophy, I'm currently taking this class.
Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits: I have credits from Study and SL, which I will list below.
Study
English Comp 2
Information Literacy
SL
Cultural Anthropology
Intro to Religion
U.S. History 1 and 2
American Government
Intro to Environmental Science
Sophia
Visual Communications
Intro to Web Development
Intro to Nutrition
Intro to I.T.
Intro to Ethnics
Developing Effective Teams
College Algebra
Here are the classes that are currently on my Pierpont transcript.
Written English II (English Comp 2)- accepted on Communications
Nutrition
Cultural Anthropology
Information Literacy
Intro Information Technology
Intro to Environmental Science
Introduction to Religion
Introduction to Web Development
Visual Communications
United States History I
United States History II- accepted on Social Sciences
College Algebra- accepted on Math and Science
American Government
Everything else is listed as electives.

Strange, that's how I would have done things, send transcripts directly from the NSHC and Parchment, they'll send electronic copies to the institution of choice and all Pierpont needs to do is download the copy. The link won't work after 30 days, so they're usually really quick at getting it reviewed within the month... Something happened and a process was dropped, or someone looking at the transcripts may have dropped the ball... I would get in contact with Lisa and cc, Nancy and explain the situation again... Review the WIKI here to make sure you've got all the gen eds, your 45 other credits are done: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Pierpont_C%26TC

I emailed both Nancy and Lisa, and my situation is fixed! I can apply for graduation now, but I want an emphasis on the degree like most people would. I will do the Business emphasis, since Nancy confirmed the five Sophia classes I want to take will work.
Intro to Business
Financial Accounting
Managerial Accounting
Project Management
Principles of Finanace

Got your PM, I don't think you need an Info System AAS to get admission into the BAS, just the 40+ technical credits, you can always do the Coursera Google/Sophia.org IT classes to hit up to 40+ credits.

I completed the Pierpont BOG AAS, and I applied for graduation last week. I emailed the application to Lisa and I'm waiting for approval to graduate this Summer. Does it normally take a while to get a response for approval?

Yes, it's a waiting game, you won't get it anytime soon, I would wait at least a month as next graduation is in a while...

It's been about 10 days since I applied and so far so good. I've got access to everything I need, including the email account via which I've been communicating with Nancy.
So how exactly does graduation work? A few qusetions:
How often do graduations occur? 6 times per year? Monthly?
Will you not get the physical diploma until after graduation? I think I've read on here that it could take up to 6 weeks. True?
Does the diploma say the AoE on it? I have seen some diplomas from Pierpont on the internet that don't have an AoE specified, so I'm guessing it doesn't.
As far as applying to UMPI for the BAS, does one have to wait until after receiving the diploma or as soon as you're notified that you will receive the diploma?
It seems like it will be about October when I will be able to apply to UMPI and not starting there until January, which is fine. This process with Pierpont seems like it will take about 2 months. That put us in the middle of August, assuming this lines up with their graduation cycle.

Hmm, you might have missed the info on the Pierpont WIKI... https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Pierpont_C%26TC
1) Graduation is the same for all degrees, it's 3 times a year
2) Diploma are mailed out at the end of the month after you've been conferred, takes 6 weeks.
3) BOG only, not AOE showing on diploma
4) You apply to UMPI for the BLS, as BAS isn't a choice. Send everything once conferred. When accepted, change program to BOG with advisor.
Note: Graduation terms for Pierpont are in May, August, and December. However, you will need to apply for graduation by April, July, or October in order to meet graduation deadlines.

So it sounds like I might be delayed until next year with starting UMPI if I don’t make the August Pierpont graduation and have to graduate in December. Which would mean no UMPI until March 2025 at the earliest. Am I thinking correctly?

No, people think that way as they're going according to a set schedule... There is no schedule for Pierpont, you just apply and send everything. You can do the UMPI degree requirements for the BLS, it's all the same for the BAS. You're going to send in the AAS and change the program to BAS (not BOG as I typed in my reply above). You can graduate your UMPI once you get conferral of your BOG AAS and that's it, no need to wait to apply at UMPI at all, they take the same credits from your ACE/RA credits anyways, and you're progression is requiring more credits from other sources. Graduate both at the same time, and as a third thing you can do, add the UMPI AALS as it's a freebie on route to your BAS.
