Go into your account and select "edit options." Scroll all the way down to misc. options. You probably have "basic text box" selected. Choose "enhanced interface" It's worth a try.

Thanks to all. Like Marianne, I had thought of that possibility, as I work on a computer with may programs because I teach online. Ruddigore was kind enough to show me what they look lik
I thought the above made sense, so went in to check and apparently my account arrived with "basic" settings, so I chose "standard", which is even lower than "enhanced interface," and they have finally shown up.
Not sure I will use them much but I am glad to see the Font capability, attachment, and spellchecker. :hurray:
Thanks again.

LOL It's because I had no computer for two weeks!! I went to Arkansas and then to Disney. I'm home now and a tad busy with my other 4 classes lol. It's on my schedule for Saturday. (and thanks for checking - I feel the love!)

Rudigore, the good news is you can do the reverse and change your settings back to basic and you will see them disappear but you also will loose all of the other applications that you can access up above the comment box.
The basic level is what came when I first signed on and stayed there -- but it is an option.

You know, I've been here for 4 months and I never realized that there was a spellcheck function.. Nice.. :p

I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.

You are my hero... I hate cellphones with a passion because of what they've done to society. You can go anywhere without some fool paying more attention to their cellphone than what's going on in the world around them. Whether driving, standing in line, or even just trying to walk from point A to point B, stupid people with their cellphones are always in the way.
