Does anyone know the math requirement at UMPI for a bachelors in liberal studies with a minor in education? Trying to see if my Sophia courses will cover it or if I’ll have to take an additional class. I also took geology with a lab at community college. Will I still need to take bio? TIA!

Your geo lab should work. I had a geo lab science for my BLS.
Here's the academic map for the BLS w/ Educational Studies Minor. The math is under 3A and 3B. Looks like College Algebra and Intro to Stats from Sophia would work. Do you already have math classes?

You do need a biology. Human Biology from Sophia plus your geology course should cover your science requirement.
In progress:

@OP, I would review the link provide above, create a spreadsheet plan for yourself to reference/track your courses list, and if you want you can link us to your one drive or google drive with the spreadsheet plan so we can provide any pointers if any.

You need a biological science and a physical science; one of these must have a lab component.
So Geology with Lab would be your physical science, and cover the lab; you just need a biological science w/o lab now.

From personal experiece with Sophia, I found all the math classes (stats, accounting, etc...) to be very easy and quick. You can knock out college math with mathway.com as an aide

Committing thread necromancy here, does UMPI absolutely require college algebra or is it possible to skate by with just a statistics course?

Depends on the major. You also need 40 credits in the GEC.

Sophia, Intro to Statistics was the only math that is required to satisfy the GEC for me, BLS minor management & political science
