I wonder if Walden is reputable enough to pay 12k to take the remaining 8 classes Tempo or 5 classes with FT

Isabel I. As for getting what one pays for, that's often not the case in higher education. Is the University of Phoenix four times as good as a community college? Moreover, because so many people believe as you do, there was even a strategy used by schools like Northeastern and George Washington Universities to raise their prestige level specifically by raising their tuition rates... and it worked: https://www.nytimes.com/2015/02/08/educa...aging.html

You don’t know what I believe please don’t talk for me. Given what we know I really doubt it will transfer but that’s just me.
We are talking about buying a degree with a groupon for 300$, you think your comparison hold? The price isn’t in the territory of lower tuition, it’s in the territory of asking ourself if a real program can exist in Europe for this price. Sent from my iPhone using DegreeForum.net

I'd go with the Tempo program through Walden - you can work at your own pace; and during this Covid19 crisis many people have far more time to dedicate towards getting it done.

I'd recommend the Tempo option, how many people are at your house? Do you have kids? How many hours a day do you have? Honestly, all the questions you're asking, is answered by one person - yourself. We don't know how many variables are in play and can only give you recommendations and advice, it's up to you to follow it or go with your own gut feeling.

We know from Isabel I's site that they really do have that relationship, and we know from posters here that there really are voluminous course materials. That puts us past whether it's real. Asking why their fees are so much lower is certainly reasonable, but not unanswerable. The program appears to be self-study, course materials hosted on a Moodle instance, which means the marginal cost of adding a student is extremely low. And they're new to the English-language market, so it could be worth it for them to run it even at a loss for a while as a way of building word of mouth. And I'm just spitballing, perhaps they've thought of something neither of us has.

An additional 3 courses instead of 5 left. If I do TEMPO, I would be needing 8 courses total. Is that doable in 6 months or less? I work full time 5 days/40 hours a week. I can commit evenings and weekends. I am better with Papers than PowerPoints though. I also take care of my mom who is sick, so that’s my main responsibility- no kids I was hoping to spend 7k or below for the tempo given that I am trying to get my 5 courses officially waived. ![]() (04-12-2020, 11:17 AM):blush:SteveFoerster Wrote:(04-11-2020, 06:21 AM)posabsolute Wrote: I would not take your chance with ENEB, we don’t know if it transfer to anything and generally you get what you pay for. While it's true that no one has yet done a foreign credential evaluation on it, given what we know I don't see any obvious reason that WES or any other NACES member would reject U. At the end of the day, I have been honest with my intention of earning a degree for a job promotion and “continuing education” . I just do not want to be questioned by my employer but I doubt they would pass judgment on me if it is accredited in EU. Especially now, my finances are running low for me to be spending thousands if I can get the prerequisite waived” for $300 right? ![]()

Yes, get the Universidad Isabel I (ENEB MBA & Masters for $299) before moving on with the Walden (if you need to). You should be able to complete the ENEB MBA & Masters faster as you can transfer all your credits from your previous overseas studies, you can finish within a shorter time. I would estimate with that much time on the weekend/weeknights, you can get it done within 3-6 months (it's just basically completing assignments).
