The new curriculum for this program has won me over; planning to start June 2019.

I won't be starting until 01/2020. Need to wait for tuition reimbursement recharge, and I don't want to have classes through the holidays again.

Do they have any different between the MBA concentrate on cybersecurity and Master of CyberSecurity? I looked up both program, you can take some the class on the master degree for less classes needed and you can have MBA with cyber security

WGU does not have a cybersecurity concentration for their MBA programs

I was a bit conflicted about going for the MS in IT Management or the MBA, but in the end I felt that the MBA would be more valuable to my career given its a better recognized degree.

That said, I do like the curriculum for the MS program.

Completed Orientation – ORA1. Have my first call with my assigned program mentor next week. Official start day is June 1, 2019. Although it would be great to finish in a term, my plan (& budget) is set for one year (two terms - WGU's schedule defaults this program to three terms). I'm trying to maintain a better work/school/life balance for this portion of my education; my bachelor degree balance was not family friendly.

Well, I did finish my first term at WGU for the MS ITM degree. My original plan was to finish it in two terms, and although I liked most of it (and would even recommend it for many) it is not going to be a good fit for me (for a number of reasons that aren't important to the masses here). My second started masters program this past year (at two different schools) and I think I may have just jumped into the next level too quickly after earning my bachelors.  

What I do know is that I need to work towards earning my PMP, and a master degree is not required for that. If I can find a suitable (master) program that focuses on just that area I may pursue it. edX has been promoting a coming soon 'Master's in Project Management" since before I graduated from TESU - hasn't happened yet, maybe it's what I'm truly waiting for.

I'm also considering seeing what Amberton will give me as transfer credit; they have a number of degree programs (6+) that offer project management as a specialization. Finally finishing my bachelor with the methods talked about here was great (after nearly 30 years), but I feel that I need to go the more traditional class route for a master.  I'm looking for a (rewarding) challenge vs just getting it done now.  A master degree is something I'd like to have, but not a necessity like the bachelor degree was for my career.

CSU-Global has an undergrad certificate in PM, as well as a MS in PM.  Kind of pricey, but it's out there.

• PA = Performance Assessment. This usually means 1-4 papers, projects, or presentations
  
• OA (not OV) = Objective Assessment. This is your traditional exam. Typically 50-100 multiple choice questions administered in a proctored environment.
  

Most WGU courses have either a PA or OA requirement. There are a handful of courses that require both, but those are typically the more advanced courses.

Be aware that the course requirements do change now and then, so don't take any details about course makeup as gospel... particularly given you're responding to a post that is well over a year old. Changes usually aren't that major, but in the 6 months I was at WGU, we had a few pretty big changes occur to the curriculum for the people who came after me.
