I would also be interested in knowing how inexpensively and quickly this degree can be done.
Apparently it includes Data Structures and Algorithms II in addition to the first course, and Discrete Math II in addition the first course.
And "Software II - Advanced Java Concepts" in addition to "Software I". By software they apparently mean programming
But yay, no Calc II.

I think that people who've been in the industry don't know of it, but that CIW is becoming a popular community college certificate/certification. I'm not sure, but making an educated guess because I've seen it at various CCs. Still, that supports your overall point that it's not worth very much.

I love that it doesn't.

Does anyone think that SL C++ would be able to be used in this degree? I'm still waffling about trying to push myself to complete the SL C++ course before my month is up. If I thought it would get me WGU credit, that would be motivating.
(I plan to take the Saylor in Software Engineering either way, and probably the DSST in Cybersecurity.)

I know they count it for their scripting course. They're also a SL partner.

Yes. WGU's equivalent for this class is Scripting and Programming - Foundations ;which was a class listed on the curiculumn that was leaked.

You may already be aware of this, but keep in mind that the DSST in Cybersecurity evaluates as CIS-344, the same as TEEX Cyber 301 (Cybersecurity for Business Professionals). Depending on whether you've taken the TEEX course, it could either mean the DSST would be a duplicate course (albeit with 3cr rather than 2cr) or a free alternative to the DSST if you're okay with the 2cr.
Working on: Debating whether I want to pursue a doctoral program or maybe another master's degree in 2022-23
Complete:
MBA (IT Management), 2019, Western Governors University
BSBA (Computer Information Systems), 2019, Thomas Edison State University
ASNSM (Computer Science), 2019, Thomas Edison State University

Here's a link for SL's equivalency (this is for software design, but you can see where it fits):

Yes, thank you. I would be doing the DSST to replace the 2cr. Sometimes I wonder if I should bother, but I'm afraid of being short 1 UL credit later on. And hopefully I would not need to study very much.

I wouldn't bother for 1cr unless that is all that you need to graduate. If you pre-plan the remaining courses you need to graduate, I'm sure you can make up for it elsewhere, either with a 4cr course or one of the 1cr courses.
In my plan, I should end up at 120cr (well, 120.67) including the TEEX courses... of course I took all 3, so 6cr woks into the degree plan easier than just 2cr.

Maybe you only mean for WGU?
I've planned out my TESU BA-CS courses for many months and it seems challenging to get the UL credits, while still keeping costs low. Since Linear Algebra isn't part of the degree now. Because I would go to community colleges as much as possible, and then you get LL credit only.

Does anyone know if WGU will allow a third Bachelor's?
I know, it is crazy to be thinking of a 3rd. I've been regretting getting the BSBA (because it doesn't apply to my future career plans, but at the time I thought I wanted the quickest and cheapest to check the box). And I'm feeling like my new chosen plans could benefit a lot from the LDAS degree. However, it's been a "bucket list" goal of mine to get a CS degree someday, so I may skip the LDAS degree if it's going to ruin my chances of a CS degree down the road. And I might skip the LDAS degree for other reasons, but I'd still like to know this about WGU. Oh, and CS does fit into possible career goals too, but I feel it needs to get delayed somewhat.
