I used InstantCert, but also relied heavily on SparkNotes.
SparkNotes was also great study material for the Civil War & Reconstruction and The Rise & Fall of the Soviet Union exams, although you need to read through multiple SparkNotes for each: For the Civil War exam: Pre-Civil War Era (just the last section on 1820-1850, "The Spirit of Reform"), Civil War, Reconstruction For the Soviet Union exam: The Russian Revolution, World War I, The Interwar Years, World War II, The Cold War Note: If you have time, read about the Cold War and Korean War when studying for the Vietnam exam - it's good background information on why the U.S. got involved in Vietnam. The magic phrase is "containment policy".
