Anyone take this recently? I need it in order to graduate and instead of paying $1,050 for the course at CSU, I will pay SL $150ish to take it. I was wondering how the written component is being handled with the pandemic.

All schools don't accept the Eng Comp II course from Sophia unfortunately. I have already checked with CSU and they don't accept it. I have to do it through StraighterLine or CLEP or just take it at CSU. I'd rather save the money especially since I took it years ago as an Honors English course, but it doesn't transfer in as Eng Comp II which is a huge bummer.

I'd probably contact your old school and get the syllabus, as well as a copy of the catalog (at the time you took the course) to show that the school considered it EC2, and appeal their decision. They normally go by name or number of course, so if it's not the "usual" name/course number, they may just have called it something else. It's worth a shot (and won't cost you a penny to try).

I took the course decades ago. There's no way to get the syllabus. I will check and see what the course description says compared to the description for the course at CSU though. Trying to get the credit accepted as Eng Comp II instead of HON Eng II would help me out. Thanks for the suggestion! Lord knows I don't want to write any more papers than I have to!
