University of Washington Degree Completion Good Deal?
#1
Upon my search for online 2nd bachelors or Degree Completion programs I found this. University of Washington is nationally recognized and would look good on a resume. I figure you guys are good at dissecting stuff so you probably will see something I overlooked. Give me the good, the bad, and the ugly.

If you are looking for a Social Sciences degree as your second degree, have a look at CSU-Pueblo. It is self-paced, very affordable, and from a reputable university.

It appears to be on a quarter system. So while it looks cheaper than a semester college it's probably not by much.

CSU-Pueblo huh? Colorado State University system seems like they have some good options. Probably will look into this more.

Missed the quarter system part. Back to the drawing board.

If you're considering CSU-Pueblo, please also see here: http://www.colostate-pueblo.edu/catalog/...4-2015.pdf page 21 where it discusses second bachelor degrees. 30 credits must be completed at CSU.

UW does not accept CLEP/DSST at all, so that should be considered as well, regardless of the tuition.

You will find a 30 credit minimum at most conventional universities. This is one of the issues that make the big 3 unique.

Thanks for the info guys. I know the Big 3 is unique in terms of accepting a lot of CLEPS, DSST, ALEKS, etc. But these days so many more B&M schools have online delivery formats to attain a degree that it may be worth it for some to invest maybe a little more time and money to pursue a degree elsewhere, especially for those who have no ambitions to pursue anything further than a bachelors. I know when I started with TESC in 2009 UMass was the only B&M that I had heard of providing an online format but obviously I know now there were others. It's nice to have options.

I know in the past I've started threads about CSU Global but CSU-Pueblo sounds like a much much better option now. I still think NAU's program sounds pretty good too if one can indeed complete it in a semester or at the most 1 year.
