Unaccredited degree assembled from courses at accredited schools

I was reading this thread from the sister forum: https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?thr...ols.62469/ , I like the concept but the entity looks sketchy as hell, and the name is horrible too(World University, LOL, sounds like something from The Simpsons) I was thinking, as anyone else have had the same idea of uniting several courses in a curriculum comparable to an accredited institution

Yup, I just updated the thread there... As I mentioned, it's a mix/match of the MOOCs, basically grabbing courses from Coursera, Edx, Udacity, etc. People can make their own degree plan using these free resources and do a PLA or challenge exam, maybe even take corresponding ACE credit if it's offered.
