TESC: Between BSBA CIS and BAST IT
#1
Hi all,

I am undecided between these two courses. I am more technical than business so I think, I have a slight preference towards BAST IT.
However, I also want to complete my degree faster (this is the priority).
I completed a diploma in 2001 (non-USA) and I also 2 incomplete degrees (non-USA). I have submitted the results to SpanTran and they have replied with their evaluation.
I am attaching that here.
I am just not sure which one give me more CT.
Hoping to get help on figuring out which of my courses align with which TESC courses so that I can figure out which program I cost should take to minimise my cost (both duration and financially).

I would enroll into TESC if you are sure that is the school that you want to go to, from there they have a pretty cool evaluation program that will take all the credits you have and throw them into each degree plan.

Also since you have calculus and a lot of UL computer classes I would recommend looking at how close you are to a computer science degree as well you never know.

Were you looking at doing the per-credit or enrolled option at TESC?

I agree, apply as whichever one you want, then when you have an online account with your evaluation done, you can look at different degrees to see which ones are a better fit (use more of your credits). I would look at all 3 (Computer Science too, like gingerbeefE suggested). You can look at which additional courses are required for each degree, and figure out which ones are the easiest to get. Many of them may be the same in all 3 programs. Take those first, and then figure out which remaining ones you need that you can get the easiest/cheapest/quickest.

I originally applied for BSBA in General Management, but I really wanted HR. I was only 1 course off, and my local CC offered that exact course in an 8-week format this summer, which I took.
