It's an amazing program, 43 units for anyone who has a Masters degree already and 60 units for someone who doesn't... 3 years for the 43 unit program and 4 years for the 60 unit program, seems like a very good program, but the tuition pricing is out of my range by far... Thanks for the info though! https://rossieronline.usc.edu/academics/...ncial-aid/

Same! I've owned 4 homes that cost less than that degree (true).

I've owned a lot of houses, all have cost a LOT more than that - and I STILL wouldn't pay that much for a degree!!

USC is expensive, but I'm about to make a thread on a couple of Coursera degrees that are outrageously priced for a bunch of MOOC courses.

I'm not mathy enough to do the ROI, but my first home was $46,000 and I sold it for $67,000 3 years later - that was in 1993. We bought a house instead of having a wedding- got married on our front porch a week after closing. We were only 23 and that gave us a nice down payment on our next home. We kept rolling that forward and today live in a 2-income home on 1 income. I couldn't have been a stay at home mom any other way.

We've done the exact same thing! Although I don't think it's the only way we could live on my husband's income, it certainly helps to be able to live in a nicer neighborhood than we would have been able to do.

I can't imagine that an EdD that expensive would have a good ROI. Education administrators can make good salaries, but they have so many cheaper online options for doctoral programs.
