I've taken both of them... got pretty decent grades for how terrible I am with history...69 & 57. My favorite resource was CrashCourse on Youtube. Just look up the vids for what time period you need to study. The guy is really funny and keeps it interesting and very concise. There's also the history channel (on YT)...for when you need a "break" from studying, but you're killing two birds with one stone if you watch course specific vids! Of course IC cards and the Exam Specific Feedback thread are a must for these two cleps.

If you search, you will find plenty of information. These are among the most taken tests.

Some people like the free videos, some people like the prep books published by REA, some like the flashcards for which a monthly subscription is needed.

I used Don't Know Much About History and two Harper Collins books.
BA Liberal Arts in 2014 from Excelsior College. (Took 25 tests)
Certificate in Writing in 2018 from University of Washington.
Current: MA in Ancient and Classical History from American Public University.
Have 180 hour TEFL/TESOL Advanced Cert from TEFL HERO.
Member of World Genius Directory. IQ 148 SD 15/IQ 151 SD 16.
