UMPI - BA in Accounting plan

Per the Accounting thread in the UMPI section, the Accounting courses at UMPI can be a bit dry. You might want to subscribe to the lowest tier of SDC so you can watch the lessons they have there. I think it's like $40/mo. for that?

After reading threads like these, I'm starting to question my decision to pursue this degree. Would 7-8 courses/session (full-time) even be doable for someone who has zero accounting/business experience?

IMO, you should still be able to do a course a week if you put the effort in. AFAIK, SDC has courses for most (if not all) of the relevant accounting topics. For instance, https://study.com/academy/course/account...taxes.html isn't a course you can take for credit at SDC but it still has relevant topics that could apply to BUS 377 and BUS 378 at UMPI.

What I would do would be to review the material that UMPI provides. Spend 1-2 days on this. If you're stuck on a concept or concepts, review the relevant SDC (or elsewhere) videos. Submit a draft on day 3 or 4, and move on to the next class while waiting to hear back.

I'm kind of toying with the idea of switching back to my initial goal of pursuing a degree in Computer Science as I'm not liking accounting so far (not hating it either), but graduating within the next 10-12 months is more important than getting a degree in CS, so I might as well stick to UMPI. However, if I were to do it and decided to go for a BS in CS at SNHU, with my current credits, what would be the fastest way of doing it (if I did 2-3 courses/term at SNHU)?

UMPI doesn't have any degrees that are really CS. The MIS minor definitely isn't CS. They don't have any additional CS courses in YourPace at this time. You can also stay in the BA Accounting and add the MIS minor. If you're interested in transferring to SNHU I would start a new thread about that. Not sure how many on here have SNHU experience but a new thread would stand out to those who do. Looking at your credits it looks like you would have like 60 or more credits to complete at SNHU. Have you looked into their policy on ACE credits?
