Hello,
I apologize if this is the wrong area. I am wondering if anyone has transferred in a completed Associates Degree? How does UMPI handle this, do they count it as all gen ed covered or do they dissect the credits?
I graduate from SNHU in August with an Associates in Liberal Studies and I would like to start taking as many SOPHIA courses as possible now to cover up to my 30 credits. (Any suggestions are welcome.)
I have already completed Conflict Resolution, Team Development, Art History II, Project Management (All counted towards AA at SNHU)
Thinking of BA -Educational Studies or BLS- Management Information Systems
Thank you for reading and your suggestions.
SNHU- Associates of Arts 8/2021
UMPI - BLS- Educational Studies and Information Systems
Starting August 30, 2021 - Goal: December 2021
Sophia LLC, Straighterline, InstantCert, Study.com)
(Follow my degree plan HERE)
Current Mood: Motivated, but tired as heck!

I transferred to UMPI with 2 associate degrees. You are waived from submitting a high school transcript. You are not waived from the GEC (their general education courses).
What courses have you already completed from SNHU and Sophia?

Don't drop any of your courses on Sophia. Finish them. You can always use them for general electives since you haven't decided on a degree yet. I would also take Introduction to Ethics, Art History 1, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, College Algebra, Environmental Science, Introduction to Psychology, and Introduction to Sociology on Sophia. I'd think about taking Introduction to Statistics as well.
I would take Introduction to Biology with Lab on Study.com and 1 other class since you get 2 for the monthly fee. This will show you have Study.com courses will transfer in. If you go for the BLS with the MIS minor there are few classes you can take on Study which will transfer into the minor.

I would take American Government on InstantCert.
After that I would apply and begin my UMPI journey.

IIRC, American Government has been said to be relatively easy at UMPI but it's easier with InstantCert. Also cheaper, at only ~$45.

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
