2 per lesson; so two per week? Is the final timed essays? That sounds like the least computer-science CS class! Ouch.

Hi Rachel83az, I was wondering if you had figured out what your final UL CS class was going to be? Are you on the fence on taking the TESU software class or something else? I just want to be prepared if Linear alegbra gets denied. Even though this class sounds like some work it could be worse. If there are 12 modules in the course 2 essays per module and no other work doesn't sounds so bad.
But I am interested in what your plan is.

As of right now, my plan for the CS credits not covered by SDC is as follows:
1. Take the MS Dynamics 365 and MS Azure AI-900 exams. See where these go. (See the free section of the forum for links to get FREE vouchers for the exams by attending FREE training.)
2. If those don't fill out the UL requirements for the CS degree, Linear Algebra from Coopersmith. At the very least, Linear Algebra will go on the ASNSM Math.
3. Network Technology TECEP. Maybe. I loathe networking. But if I can get it over and done with in one exam, that aspect is appealing.
4. Either Software Engineering or AI at TESU. AI sounds more appealing for personal reasons but, at this point, I'd rather go with whatever's going to be less work.

hmm MS dyanmics, ake the MS Dynamics 365 and MS Azure AI-900 exams. See where these go. (See the free section of the forum for links to get FREE vouchers for the exams by attending FREE training.) this sounds interesting, is there a thread somewhere or have you talked to TESU about this?

The only thread about it is here and then a mention in the free thread. I have not talked to TESU about it. The advisors tend not to know what's what (see this thread here regarding whether Linear Algebra is accepted or not). The MS exams are ACE credit and will be free. So I don't see any point in talking to them to get it preapproved. If this were an expensive exam and/or not ACE-approved (like the CompTIA exams) then I would probably talk to an advisor.

I don't know if those will specifically work for your requirements at TESU but they may be worth a try.

So is it confirmed that the networking TECEP is defintely approved for upper level CS credit?
Yeah I don't want to take a full class if I can just take a fairly hard test

The Networking TECEP has always been UL CS credit, yes. The problem is that it's probably one of the hardest TECEPs, if not the hardest, due to the lack of good study materials and the archaic and obscure questions on the test. People have certainly passed it but it's not easy to pass.

Got it, I just bookmarked the wiki you made on the study material for the networking class thanks a bunch, I think I will likely follow the plan you listed.
I already paid for linear alegbra six months ago before I knew the eligibilty was in question.
So I will see if they let me take a stab at that first.
2nd I'll try to pass the Networking TECEP.
Depending on how close I get to passing the Networking TECEP then I can either attempt to retake it or just do TESU software engineering. (I have heard from other people that TESU doesn't give you your grade if you fail? Which is annoying.
I think I am also going to do some google searching as a last resort to not pay the two grand.

Another possible solution would be to enroll at CSU Global as a non-degree seeking student. Assuming they allow you to take their exams, they have a couple of them that have a good chance of working: https://csuglobal.edu/undergraduate/alte...ssessments
Principles of Robotic Theory CSC430S (3 credits)
Database Management ITS410S (3 credits) - Probably would overlap with SDC's database management
Database Concepts MIS407S (3 credits) - Could overlap with SDC
Cloud Computing and Big Data MIS440S (3 credits) - Might only work for the BSBA CIS but who knows.
This has not been verified as a viable path because CSU says that the exams are only available to "enrolled students" but the wording on the admissions page makes it look like non-degree seeking students are also eligible to take the exams.
