What a difference six and a half weeks makes!
My UMPI session ends in late August. I have completed 13 classes and waiting (and waiting, and waiting) for my final draft grade. I should graduate when everything is processed with a BABA/Management & Leadership and a minor in History. I am pretty sure I will get summa cum laude. I started my application to the Illinois iMSM program. Of course, I can't finish the application until I have at least an unofficial UMPI transcript showing my grades, which will be in about a month. But I started it to do the essays and send out the requests for recommendations. I am tentatively planning to do iMSM and then stop, but I might end up doing their iMBA depending how things go not just at Illinois but elsewhere in my life. Right now, I like the idea of a program I can complete in a reasonably short timeframe. What I like about Illinois is that they are stackable, so I don't need to decide on one path or the other. I am still considering the UMPI MAOL just because it would be so fast and cheap. I think I could complete that this calendar year. But leaning toward Illinois right now.

Yes. If you do the imsm then it makes sense to choose it for your mba. Absolutely!

Just a general FYI,
the iMSM had been 11.5 grand total, but prices have been increased. Price is now between 12 and 13 grand. The one thing I wonder about the iMSM is the maximum number of courses they allow you to take per term. Is it 1, 2, or more?
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience: CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning. Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management

UIUC considers 9 credits a full load for grad students. If Gies (the business school) is like the rest of the university, I believe you can do up to 12 hours, but anything more than that is verboten.
