The University of Connecticut has been offering free 1 credit hour pop-up courses during the past 12 months. The current course relates to climate change. The prior two courses focused on Covid-19 and racism.

It appears that one needs to be a student or staff member to take the courses. However, I do see that UConn has a visiting students application. The deadline for the current course is past, but maybe it would be possible to apply for visiting status for a later semester and pick up one of these classes.
