Two Upcoming DEAC attempts

Because we always wonder here when a facility will get accredited, etc., I wanted to say that Saylor begins their DEAC submission "around September" of this year. Submission, I said, this doesn't mean they'll be DEAC in September, but they should begin the process around then.
Global Tech College will also begin DEAC paperwork "in the next year".
This was said to me by administration of both, take it for what it is worth.

Also, both have also said that it is a step toward RA accreditation in the future for them.

Global Tech College is already NA by ACCET, but ACCET is only authorized to accredit degrees at the occupational associate’s level, thus Global Tech’s Associate of Applied Science and Associate of Applied Business. DEAC would allow higher degrees.

Global Tech’s current tuition is better than average for a for-profit if not disruptive, $210 per semester hour (nominally $185 in tuition plus $25 in a tech fee).

Also Re: Global Tech College - They said they are in process of creating bachelor's degree programs for when they become DEAC and will then begin a process to do a couple of master degrees in the future. This was per a Zoom call yesterday.
