I don't think there is any way to get around Maryland's laws unless you have an out-of-state address you can use. I'm not advocating that, though.
The grant ends 09/30/15, so you have to finish the program by then unless they get an extension.

How long did it take for them to review your application? Also, what criteria are they really looking for? The requirements page is really sparse.

I think they'll let almost anyone in. I just threw some stuff together for the cover letter. I can't remember how long it took them to review my application for PACE-IT. Maybe a couple of weeks? Then, you have to take the SmarterMeasure Assessment. It can take 5-10 business days for them to get the results. After that, you have to apply to the college. It takes a little while to get started. I first received a response to my PACE-IT application on February 19th. My start date was April 6th. If you fail to complete your weekly scheduled assignments twice, then you will be required to have a meeting with the program director to determine if you should stay in the program. So, even though it's competency-based, it's not very self-paced because the grant will end soon.

They took a while for me. Going through the whole registration process was about four weeks for me with several steps. I just got to start the courses yesterday.
Does anyone know if you can take another certificate after completing one?

Does anyone know of a discount on the CIW Internet Business Associate exam besides taking the test at the campus?

I just took the CIW Internet Business Associate exam. The school will give you a code to access practices exams. My advice would be to skip the link that says "practice exams." Take the reinforcement assessment instead. The reinforcement assessment includes all 409 questions in the test bank that's used for the practice exams. You get immediate feedback after each question. Because I usually study at the last minute, I only got to question 345.
My student mentor was worried that I hadn't studied at all when she called me the day before the test. CIW gives you 30 min. to answer 30 questions. It took me less than 10 minutes to finish, and I scored a 100%. The questions on the certification test are taken directly from the test bank for the practice exams. I'm kind of annoyed that I had to pay $150 for such a worthless certification.
I couldn't find any discounts when I registered.

It's a community college that only offers 2-year degrees, so TESC won't transcribe any of their credits as UL.
