Just providing an update, all but the dreaded English 1 and 2 have been completed on sophia but are in progress. Also completed the coursera certification! Struggling to start working on the GED... Question now is should we wait to apply hoping to be enrolled for the next term starting in January or wait to have the GED completed? A previous poster said he would count as a transfer student as he has 12 college credits, but just asking again in case anyone has had a similar experience and what the outcome was. Any help and all suggestions have been well appreciated!

You can apply and see what happens. It does not seem to be consistent.

Thanks, he ended up speaking to someone from the school and that was basically their suggestion. In describing his situation they said he might not need it but you won’t know for sure. We plan to apply this weekend!

Hey everyone, so he applied, requested Sophia and community college transcripts, as well as the correspondence high school transcripts to be sent, which we believe have should all been received by now. Today he got an email from UMPI requesting "additional information", but not detail of what the information might be. Has anyone run into this? not sure what it might be and of course strange and slightly annoying to receive this email on a Sunday when you are already anxious about this whole process
. Either way, he will be calling tomorrow to hopefully find out soon.

Instead of being annoyed, he should respond to the email and ask what additional information is needed. It may be an automated email. UMPI does not process applications. The U of M system does.

What was the exact verbiage for requesting additional information? Could you copy/paste that couple of sentences or paragraphs? I am thinking there would be a line or two underneath the 'additional information' field. When I looked at my application, I received an email with the same thing, right below the additional info, it had the requirements of ASU Transcript and TESU Transcript. That was all I needed to send them for my early application...
