I just took Microeconomics and passed it with 63 scaled score. Now I'm trying to take Macroeconomics as fast as possible and I'm limited on the amount of time I can put in to studying before I have to take this test. I've seen comments from other places where the Macro exam is very similar and easier than the Micro, but I'm looking at the Macro flash cards today and it does look like there is a lot of new information and a lot of little details to keep track of. So, to anyone who has taken both of these tests, how much preparation was actually needed to pass Macro after taking Micro?
Thanks!

I haven't taken either exam, but did a lot of CLEP practice questions for both. I felt like micro was easier and more intuitive for me, and I could pass without studying. I didn't expect macro to require so much learning for me. I will need to study. Personally I will probably do around 6-10 hours of studying because I'm not shooting for a high score, just to pass.
It seems like some of it is easy to guess or just needs basic math.
Good luck.

Are you referring to the macroeco CLEP? I'm interested in hearing about the clep too, because I have yet to decide between either CLEP or Study.com for macro/micro.

I'm in the process of taking the Macro CLEP right now; I'm taking it Tuesday actually. I'm not sure how it compares to Micro. I wanted to let you know of a good study resource for either of those tests, though. If you've been reading through different threads about Macro/Micro, you may have come across it. Probably the best resource I've had for Macro is ACDC Econ, with Mr. Clifford. His videos are on YouTube and are amazing! I don't think I would be so ready to take my test if it hadn't been for his wonderful teaching. Hope this helps!
