The cost with the summer discount is the same as Uexcel but online proctoring is a big plus.
Have you created an account over at Torah? If you do, you will be able to see the syllabi for all their courses before you decide...
I'm still waiting for a call back from my EC Advisor - First order of business is to confirm if EC will accept Torah's HIS-301 as a legit UL history credit...If so, I'm going to contact Torah and see if I can find out more info regarding the final exam...
I cannot believe how much time I spend trying to figure out a way to avoid the Civil War - It's become my new hobby. milelol:

Yes, I created an account a long time ago but never did anything with it. I had just discovered NCCRS and was exploring various options. The test prep looks helpful. The two new exams I am considering didn't have any study materials so I emailed to request them so I could see if these exams will work for me. The materials were made available within hours.
I have never avoided the Civil War but I've been known to practice a great deal of avoidance behavior. I guess that's why it's taking me 20 years to finally do this hilarious

I've taken all my courses directly from TCC. They're relatively easy to study for, even UL ones. If you're self motivated, it's totally worth it to take their classes. I took their JH350 course and did well. I also just took information literacy with them for $135 from home, self study, and it was great-easy, at my own time, and cheap. I have 106 credits now, and they're all from TCC.

Yea!!! So glad to hear from you!
Elaborate on your experiences please!
What is the format for the Gen Ed finals - multiple choice, essay questions, combination, etc.??? I don't see any practice quizzes or final exam prep quizzes/notes - are these available? If not, how do you know what content to study for the final exam?
How long did it take you to complete a course?
I'm specifically looking at Torah's UL HIS-301 (Jewish Immigration and Settlement) - have you taken this course? If so, can you share your thoughts???
Your input regarding Torah College would be greatly appreciated!

Just conferred with my EC Advisor - jury is still out on whether I can use Torah's HIS-301 to complete my UL depth in history - will hopefully hear back within the next few days.
Civil War DSST is once again looming... :ack:

SuZ, can you give a review of your class? Was it mostly book reading/learning or were there other things in there too like videos/lectures? Any info would be appreciated!
****EDIT****** I just saw your review was in a new thread. Thank you

Univ of Idaho independent study ($100 per credit) has several upper level history classes. One of them might be another option, but only if a distance class (not an exam) would be something you might consider.
